Sydney 2005

While my PC has reached its expiry date, I am content to settle for a few stolen hours using someone else's PC. Finally I am loading these selected pictures out of the thousand over I snapped, not counting those I deleted during the trip.

This is quite funny. Of all people, I saw Fann Wong and Chen Hanwei filming at QVB

This is another popular Australian icon, whether Sydney or Melbourne. Can be quite irritating

St.Mary's Catholic Church and its interior. There was a wedding going on and it was refreshing to witness a worship session of just reciting Psalm 150.

BLUE MOUNTAINS
Rented a cottage up in the mountains that reminded me of some Little Red Riding Hood story. It was really nice living in a nice quiet town called Blackheath. a few train stops away is Katoomba where all the tourist sights are near. Another stop away is Leura which is really quaint but still tourisy. Blackheath is really nice and I like it when we had to walk 15 mintues from the train station back to the cottage, passing all the pretty houses, snapping pictures outside almost every house. They are just too quaint. I think I can stay and survive in that place.

The bath which had this weird thing against me. I never seemed to be able to get hot water after 10pm and it only happened to me, on both nights. Check out the jacuzzi on the left though

I learnt how to make a fire using real wood. Not easy...

The owners, Terry and Virginia. Really nice people and like what Mich says, they are like the perfect parents you wish you ever had. Terry responded to all my requests with: "All you need to do is ask..."

Mich was so crazy over her books that it nearly drove me nuts

But finally I got influenced and got myself a very old book that belonged to some library decades back-Women of the Bible
