Sawubona (Good Day!)

Another South Africa picture taken in 1996, when I had chubby cheeks and longer hair. These kids were hanging around outside the black church I attended, excited at seeing Asians, probably for the first time. In that black church, the worship was simple beautiful. I can't describe fully....no music, no instruments, no charismatic worship leader......only ready hearts wanting to please God with their voices. I realised that they don't sound that great as an individual. But when they sing together, they create such great harmony that speaks of a unity in the Lord. You got to be there to experience it! I learnt a few Zulu songs there that right up to this day, I sing it sometimes during free worship. I really miss this land.  Posted by Hello
